Star Wars Battlefront 2 Will Get Arcade Mode About The Last Jedi
Wtar Wars Battlefront 2 developer DICE has released a lot of new content since the game came out in November 2017. This time, the developer has added new story content, it looks like it’s based on the movie Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Dennis Branvall, design director of Battlefront 2, spoke on Twitter about the possibility of adding new content to Arcade Mode. This mode assigns players to various missions based on different characters and sets the path in the Star Wars universe.
Curious fans on Twitter asked Branvall, “Just a question. As the online community enjoys Jetpack events, what can offline players expect before next season? As someone who can’t afford a PlayStation Plus, I just wanted a little hint.” Branvall responded by saying, “We’re not neglecting our PvE! Arcade is doing really well, of course we want to create more content for it.” Although he didn’t say when the new content would be released, fans are pretty sure DICE is working on something.
Later, another fan said to Branvall, “Please let me know that there will be a clone war playlist soon. I rarely get war clone maps and when I do, I’m a clanker. I also have to play as a clone too!” The director replied, “Yes, soon,” but not yet clearly. So it seems that Star Wars: The Clone Wars fans can look forward to having a playlist of maps based on the series in some places in the future.
Meanwhile, EA hasn’t officially announced the Star Wars Battlefront 2 update. Given the game’s steady and increasing sales since launch, EA and DICE are likely to make some sort of announcement in the near future.
